Ford Motor Company, a global automotive industry leader, has embarked on a groundbreaking initiative to expand its electric vehicle (EV) production capabilities with the development of the Ford Electric F-Series assembly facility. This $5.6 billion investment is an ambitious project that spans across a vast area of 3,600 acres, with a total project size exceeding 10 million square feet, making it one of the largest and most significant investments in the automotive industry. Becknell Industrial has been awarded the development and construction of three key buildings as part of Ford’s ambitious BlueOval City expansion project. The projects are with Tier 1 automotive suppliers that will provide key components to the assembly of the Ford F-150 Lightning.
