Chris Wescott and Joe Beaty to Lead Accounting and Finance Functions
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Aug. 27, 2026 — Becknell Industrial today announced the promotion of Chris Wescott to Chief Accounting Officer and Joe Beaty to Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance. Working closely with the executive leadership team, both Wescott and Beaty will help guide the company’s financial strategy and support the continued growth of Becknell’s national real estate platform.
In his new role as Chief Accounting Officer, Chris Wescott oversees the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions, including joint venture reporting, property accounting, construction accounting, and financial statement audits. Wescott joined the Becknell Team in 2011 and has played an important leadership role in supporting the company’s growth and ensuring financial excellence across its portfolio and development and construction platforms.
As Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance, Joe Beaty leads Becknell’s corporate financial analysis, tax coordination, and treasury functions. Since joining Becknell in 2021, Beaty has established himself as a key leader within the Accounting and Corporate Finance teams.
