The Solution
Becknell successfully developed and delivered a 1,000,602-square-foot distribution facility on 72.4 acres in Commerce City, Colorado. Selected for the project in October 2020, Becknell delivered the facility in approximately 12 months while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives. The facility features a 36-foot clear height, 100 dock doors, an ESFR sprinkler system, and LED lighting with motion sensors, providing the functionality required to support Lowe’s regional distribution operations.
The completed facility now serves as a key component of Lowe’s regional distribution network and demonstrates Becknell’s strengths in large-scale industrial development, integrated project delivery, and schedule-driven execution. By delivering a 1 million SF distribution facility on time and on budget, Becknell helped Lowe’s expand its distribution capabilities and achieve critical supply chain objectives.
