SVP - Development & Investments

Robert Richter joined Becknell Industrial as SVP – Development & Investments in May 2025.

Vital to the growth of the Company’s portfolio, Rob is responsible for identifying strategic investment and development opportunities in the Florida market. This includes overseeing
build-to-suit projects, leasing speculative warehouse space, and identifying strategic land parcels.

Over the course of his twenty-year career, Rob has overseen the development of more than 10 million square feet of industrial and commercial assets, with proven expertise in site selection, capital structuring, leasing strategy, and both speculative and build-to-suit execution.

Before joining Becknell Industrial, he served as Founder & CEO of Imminent Ventures, directing large-scale industrial developments across Florida, and as CEO of Ivy Capital, a value-add industrial investment firm focused on infill markets. Rob previously held senior leadership roles as Director at McCraney Property Company, where he led operations in Central and North Florida, and as Vice President at Flagler, a subsidiary of Fortress Investment Group (NYSE: FIG), where he spearheaded statewide expansion initiatives for Florida’s largest industrial platform at the time.

Rob received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication with Honors from Wake Forest University, where he was also a varsity letterman in football, and his Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Miami Finance Forum.
