HOBART — A manufacturer of electrical conduit has moved into a spacious new warehouse originally built on speculation in Lake County’s largest industrial park. Calpipe Industries has begun operations in 85,000 square feet of NorthWind Crossings’ newest building, which totals about 160,000 square feet. The California-based company moved its Northwest Indiana operation from Hammond, where it had been operating in a 45,000 square-foot plant on 165th Street.
