(INDIANAPOLIS, February 6, 2018) – Becknell Industrial announced today the execution of two lease transactions in Grove City, Ohio, in the fourth quarter of 2017.
Becknell fully leased its speculative warehouse building in Grove City, Ohio less than six months after construction began. A Fortune 500 company that is a leading distributor of packaging, facility solutions print and publishing products and services; as well as logistics and supply chain management solutions, will occupy the entire 322,000 square feet in Building 1 at Southpark Place.

Strategically located within a 500-mile radius of 60% of the US population, Southpark Place offers easy access to I-71 and I-270 and is located minutes from Columbus International Airport and Rickenbacker Air Industrial Park.
Given its recent success with Building 1, Becknell has begun construction of Building 2 at Southpark Place. Scheduled for completion in July 2018, the 324,000-square-foot cross-docked facility will feature 32’ clear height, up to 80 dock doors, four drive-in doors and 206 auto parking spaces. In addition, the property will include 50’ x 47’ column spacing with 60’ loading bays, ESFR sprinkler system and T-5 lighting. Lee & Associates is handling the lease up assignment of Building 2 as well.
Additionally in Grove City, Becknell announced that it has leased its 269,831 square foot existing property in Gateway Business Park to Communications Test Design, Inc. (CTDI). Founded in 1975, CTDI is a full-service, global engineering, repair and logistics company providing best-cost solutions to the communications industry. Positioned on 16.4 acres, Gateway Business Park 1 features 28′ clear height, 40 docks and two drive-in doors and 506 auto parking spaces. In addition, the building includes ESFR sprinkler system,
125’ truck court with 65’ concrete apron and T-5 lighting.
